a lifetime and longer, you need several key factors:
• A Designer that knows log building from the ground up;The logs we use are Red Pine, White Pine, and Spruce 10" - 12" sizes (on the small end) to up to about 35" (on the large end). They are all hand peeled, scribed, and chainsaw cut by hand to fit adjacent logs, rendering an energy efficient log home. The building is then disassembled and shipped to your site and reconstructed on your foundation. Windows and Doors are site cut as we continue to custom finish your home.
• A General Contractor with log experience who not only builds the log home, but constructs the foundation, the interior finishes, etc.;
• Hand picked quality 12" - 35" logs;
• A Log Builder with quality and pride for their work, who monitors the home after it is built;
• Quality carpenters to complete the construction process;
• A quality building material supplier and sub-contractors with log construction experience.
